Tournament Rules

A - Eligibility

• The Championship is open to amateur golfers with a valid handicap, recognized by their national golf federation.
• Players must hold an active Amateur Status in accordance with R&A Rules of Amateur Status.
• Age Categories:
  • Mens & Women U25 – Stroke Play / WAGR
  • Boys & Girls U18 – Stroke Play / WAGR
  • Boys & Girls U15 – Stroke Play

B - Format & Competition

• The event will be conducted under R&A Rules of Golf and Local Rules approved by the Tournament Committee.
• Stroke Play is the official format for WAGR ranking.
• The tournament will be played over 54 holes (3 rounds).
• In case of weather suspension, the committee reserves the right to shorten the competition to 18 holes.

C - Local Rules & Committee Decisions

• Local Rules will be posted at the starter’s area before the first round.
• The Tournament Committee’s decision is final in all disputes.

D - Winner, Prizes and Ties

. Boys & Girls and Mens & Women Winner shall be presented with the Ventus Championship at the Prize PresentaSon and receive a medal.
. Medals shall be awarded to;

• Tournament Total Lowest Score win the Big Trophy.
• Top 3 places in U25 Mens / Women category.
• Top 3 places in U18 Boys / Girls category
• Top 3 places in U15 Boys / Girls category.
• 1st Place U15 Boys & Girls (Net)
• Nearest to the Pin – One Overall Winner ( Boys & Girls )

Ties for first place will be decided by a sudden death play-off over holes to be determined by tournament committee.

NOTE: Winter Rules will be utilize on the fairway only.

F - Categories

In accordance with the Turkish Golf FederaSon ruling, age categories are defined by year of birth.
For Example; if someone born in 01.12.2009 (17 years old ) he/she will play U18 category.
İf someone born in 05.01.2007 (19 years old ) he/she will play U25 category.
If someone born in 10.11.2011 (15 years old ) he/she will play U15 category.
If someone born in 01.09.2013 (13 years old ) he/she will play U15 category.

**The Committee reserves the right to change the decision.

G - Caddies Allowed

The use of caddies is not permitted during the tournament

H - Scoring & Scorecard Procedure

• Each player must verify and sign their scorecard along with their marker.
• Incorrect score for a hole → disqualification
• Cards must be returned to the scoring area immediately after the round.

II - Ties & Playoffs

• In case of a Se for 1st place, a sudden-death playoff will determine the winner (starSng from hole #1 or as designated).
• Incorrect score for a hole → disqualification
• All other Ses will be decided by last 18 / 9 / 6 / 3 / 1 holes (countback method)

J - Dress Code & Others

• Players must wear proper golf amre (polo shirts, long trousers or tailored shorts, golf shoes).
• Mobile phones and audio devices are not allowed during play.

K - Distance Measuring Devices

• Devices measuring distance only are permitted.
• Devices providing slope, wind, or temperature informaSon are prohibited.

L - Conduct & Discipline

• Players must maintain proper behavior and respect the spirit of the game.
• Any unsportsmanlike conduct (swearing, club throwing, phone use, disrespect) may result in penalty or disqualificaSon.
